This journey started before the pandemic. Like many of you, I had no clear direction. I just wanted to build apps. So, I did. One after another. I spent weeks, even months, building features no one used, convinced that just publishing to the App Store would somehow make everything work out. I thought, “If it’s live, users will come.” I was wrong.

What began as a way to kill time quickly turned into an obsession. One project led to another, and before I knew it, I was hooked.
Looking back, I wish someone had guided me through the process. I spent countless hours learning the hard way, making mistakes, hitting walls, and wondering why nothing was growing.
At the time, I knew very little about the business side of apps. So I committed myself to learn. Every single day, I studied. I gave myself at least two hours daily to dive into app marketing, ASO (App Store Optimization), user acquisition, retention strategies, anything I could get my hands on. Not because I want to start a company, but because I want to build better apps… and make sure my work doesn’t go to waste.
Then something happened.
A developer reached out and offered to pay me $200 for just 30 minutes of my time to help her with her app. I didn’t expect that. But I agreed. I shared what I knew, and afterward, she told me how grateful she was. That moment stuck with me. Because her struggles were the same as mine.
That’s when it hit me: it’s not just me. So many indie developers and small teams go through this trying to figure things out on their own, wasting time, energy, and motivation. We all face the same roadblocks. And I realized, if someone had just shared their journey with me back then, maybe I wouldn’t have had to struggle so much.
That moment led me to create ASO Ninja – a platform where I share everything I’ve learned about app growth, marketing, and ASO. No fluff, no hype, just real strategies that actually work. My goal is simple: to help other indie devs, small teams, and startups avoid the painful trial-and-error I went through.

After that, I fully committed to this journey. I didn’t want to just build apps I wanted to understand how to make them grow. So I connected with three other passionate people who shared the same obsession. Each of them brings deep expertise in areas I once struggled with ASO, user acquisition, monetization, and growth strategies.
